The Fresh Produce Association of the Americas (FPAA) and the Fresh Produce & Floral Council (FPFC) are pleased to announce their collaboration on a unique event - the combined SWIPE Desert Golf Classic. This exciting endeavor aims to foster camaraderie and business connections between FPAA and FPFC members while celebrating the vibrant produce industry.
Scheduled for November 7th, 2024, at the prestigious JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa, the tournament promises a day of networking, friendly competition, and strategic partnership building. This collaboration represents a significant milestone for both organizations, as it marks the FPFC's expansion into Arizona and leverages the FPAA's established presence in the region.
Lance Jungmeyer, President of the FPAA, echoed Schutt's sentiments, emphasizing the synergy between the two organizations. "This collaboration between FPFC and FPAA is a perfect match. By joining forces, we can offer our members unparalleled opportunities to network, collaborate, and thrive in the dynamic produce industry. We are excited about the possibilities this partnership holds and eager to see the positive impact it will have on our members."
Michael Schutt, immediate past chair of the FPFC, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "We are thrilled to partner with the FPAA for the SWIPE Desert Golf Classic. As the FPFC expands into Arizona, and with the FPAA's strong foothold in the region, this collaboration is a natural fit. I'm excited to see the connections and opportunities that will emerge from this partnership and look forward to the future of our collaboration."
